Building and planning law, special planning laws, infrastructure planning

When private individuals and businesses or government bodies apply for building permits and planning procedures, they must accurately take the requirements of the regulations on urban development, protection against pollution, protection of environment and nature, water supply and distribution, and often also protection of historical monuments, as well as other administrative building regulations into account.

Both residential and commercial building projects as well as transportation infrastructure projects require an interdisciplinary cooperation of specialized planners, project controllers, businessmen, and lawyers. In addition, the decisions of building, environmental, planning or expropriation authorities are often subjected to court review. In such cases, the expert knowledge and experience of specialized lawyers is required for dealing at arms' length with public authorities, especially in court.
